    Early Style 604-8Gs

ALTEC Lansing DUPLEX 15" Speakers 604-8G SUPER NICE! - eBay (item 280531535879 end time Jul-12-10 18:01:53 PDT)

Interesting that they have the E style rear cover, and the label on the magnet, rather than on the rear driver cap.

I've never seen a pair like this, was this common? Obviously with s/n's in the 1000 range, a few were made!

    Nice.

I must say, the angle in the first pic Analog really shows clearly that it is a 515 magnet and an 802 magnet joined.

    What cab are they in?

    Also do they have Tangerines?

    The listed pair s/n are 810, 1032

That cab is a 825/828 you can see the kerf cuts in the flare and the bottom chamber so that is a VOT cab 828.

@AA looks like oil spray or something on top of the driver what is that.

Thought it was an 828 type.

Unusual to see a 604 in one, how do the sound?
